Accommodation
Switzerland's mountains have been a haven for mountaineers from all over the world for many years now. Fortunately, despite their popularity, they are still largely unspoilt. However, due to this popularity, the Swiss Alps are helpfully dotted with politely hidden lodges where one can enjoy a beautiful hot meal, coupled with local wine and schnapps in cosy surrounds with friends and alongside fellow hikers before a well deserved good night's sleep.
Alternatively, if you happen to end your day in one of the idyllic villages couched in lush green valleys, you can sleep in one of the many boutique hotels which also offer wonderful local hospitality. I will work with you to find accommodation and dining options that best suit your needs depending on the size of the group, your budget, your tastes, ets.

My only wish is that you can enjoy your holiday and the magic of the Swiss Alps. So I will work with you to tailor your hiking program to what suits your desires and goals.
Fitness
For any hiking, some basic level of fitness is required. However, day hikes can be tailored to almost all levels of fitness. For hikes of longer than two days, a higher level of fitness is required. I can discuss with you what will be appropriate for you and your group.
Safety
Safety during a hike has a very high priority for me. For smaller injuries I will be able to provide first aid, for minor health problems I always carry a well equipped emergency kit. In case of a - very unlikely - accident, Switzerland has one of the most efficient helicopter rescue services worldwide (REGA). The rescue helicopters are in the air within 5 minutes of the alarm being raised and within 20 - 30 minutes at the site of the accident.
Photography
A hike in the mountains offers you a large variety of phantastic photo subjects. So don't forget to bring your camera.
